Silybum marianum is also known as Milk Thistle, Holy Thistle or Our Lady’s Thistle. Milk thistle seeds are rich in phytonutrients. Their active ingredient “Silymarin” is a flavonoid compound made up of flavolignans with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action that helps stimulate the production of glutathione, which participates in the elimination of toxins from the body. Contains up to 50% more silymarin than other brands. Milk Thistle is traditionally used to increase breast milk production.
The seeds are grown 100% organically and, once harvested, are cold milled and ground into powder, thus maintaining their nutritional properties.
