The cacao tree is a small perennial plant called Theobroma Cacao, which means “Food of the Gods”. It grows in tropical climates, mainly in South America. The fruit was highly prized among the Mayan and Aztec peoples and was brought to Europe by the Spanish. These pre-Columbian peoples used cocoa to produce a drink that was a great source of energy.
All the ingredients used to make our chocolate are 100% organic and the sugar used is unrefined, fair-trade cane sugar.
Our chocolate is processed in an Artisan Production Unit. Our chocolate is shaped like a wafer, rounded at the top and flat at the bottom, fitting perfectly between the tongue and the roof of the mouth so that it can be enjoyed while melting in the mouth, allowing you to feel and appreciate the true taste of chocolate.
